The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
